New Years Resolution Blog Candy

For the new year, like most of you, I like to start fresh and set some resolutions. Since I just had a new baby in October I would like to get back into shape. So, my first resolution is to eat healthy by menu planning, and starting a new workout program. My second is to restart my Flylady routines. My third is to get back on track in the business department partially by being more faithful to my blog and building followers. Whats the best way to get followers??? Why offering blog Candy of course. I am going to offer two gifts. One to a random person who comments on this post about your resolution, and another to the person with the most referrals. Just tell your friends to comment stating you told them about my blog. The person with the most referrals gets the second Gift.

Mistletoe Workshop

Starting November 15th we will be creating the Beautiful Scrapbooking projects in the Mistletoe kit. I love the traditional colors and themes in these papers. Surprise Shower!!!

What a wonderful Surprise last night. I walked in to start setting up for our Monday night workshop only to find a sea of pink and yummy goodies. The ladies had conspired to throw me a wonderful surprise Baby Shower. Thank you so much for planning such a sweet night with all of the yummy treats and adorable gifts. My first Studio J Layout

I used the pictures we took on our day trip to Julian and Created this 2 page layout in about 30 minutes using Studio J.

Julian Snow Day

We decided to take Jennifer to Julian to see the snow for the first time. She had a blast stomping on every pile of snow we walked by. We ate lunch at the coffee shop, they have the best sandwiches. Then we browsed around and picked up a few souvenirs on our way to the Julian Pie Company. Jennifer started an impromptu snowball fight with a little boy while we were waiting in line for our pies. It ended quickly when she miss aimed and hit a man on the back that was sitting near the war zone. Thankfully he was good humored and chuckled at the incident. Jennifer had a big day meltdown on the way home but perked up and was ready to enjoy some apple pie as soon as we walked in the door. We all had a great time!!!

Edge Distressing with Scissors

This Tuesday I thought I would take a cue from one of our past WOTG and show you how to edge distress with Scissors. First you will need a pair of Scissors. I love our Micro-Tip Scissors (Z534) they only cost $9.95 a pair. take your scissors and open them all the way. Hold your scissors in one hand and your paper or Cardstock in the other. Run the blade of your scissors along the edge of your paper until you get the desired effect like shown in these pictures.
